On December 14, within the framework of the Open Doors programme a group of teachers and pupils of Levon Mirijanyan N 155 General School visited the National Assembly.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan, who welcoming the pupils and teachers in the parliament, presented the structure, functions, the activities of the Standing Committees of the National Assembly. At the pupils’ request he touched upon the Constitutional amendments and the parliamentary government system. Afterwards Mr Davtyan gladly answered the questions concerning the pupils.

The interlocutors referred to the graduation and entry exams, the demands of the labour market of Armenia and the choice of the profession, as well as the issues regarding the social-economic situation of the country.

At the end of the meeting the pupils have been taken a photo with Artak Davtyan in the Plenary Session Hall of the National Assembly.
